10 Dicas para quem está aprendendo a dançar:

1. Respire e sinta o momento

Respire bem durante cada movimento; mantenha sua atenção focada em seus pés, seu ventre, sua pélvis e em sua respiração. Tente viver esse momento em seu ventre e em sua pélvis, sentindo seus pés tocando o chão e o fluxo de sua respiração passando pelo nariz e pela boca.

2. Relaxe os lábios

Aproxime os lábios de uma maneira mais sensual. Não force o maxilar ou a boca, deixe-os relaxados. Isso também fará com que você expire melhor pela boca e inspire mais profundamente o ar pelo nariz - dando mais energia a cada movimento.

3. Deixe a tensão de lado

Faça uma análise: você fica tensa o tempo todo durante a aula? Por que se a resposta é 'sim' e você de fato não consegue se divertir durante esse momento, talvez esteja perdendo o melhor disso tudo. Você sabe: o estresse se reflete no corpo, em seus movimentos. Faça da alegria o seu foco principal e uma mágica vai acontecer de repente, juntamente com seus movimentos: eles fluirão mais facilmente e melhor.

4. Monitore seus pensamentos

Comece mudando aqueles pensamentos negativos, de auto-crítica. Essa é uma chave poderosa para abrir a porta e encontrar sua verdadeira beleza feminina.

5. Tente deixar de lado a ambição e a concorrência

Pode parecer difícil, mas críticas demais a si mesma e aos outros só tornarão o momento da dança menos alegre e produtivo para você. Se esses pensamentos andam te atrapalhando, tente focar sua atenção em outros detalhes: sinta seus pés no chão, corrija sua postura, ou simplesmente ouça a música e se entregue a ela.

6. Faça amizades

Faça amigos, não se isole durante a aula. Tente conhecer a personalidade das outras mulheres de sua classe. Pode acreditar: isso dará mais sentido à sua dança.

7. Capriche no visual

Lembre-se que as roupas são parte importante da dança do ventre. Compre alguns adereços para enfeitar seu lenço de quadril ou qualquer outro complemento para dar mais cor e tempero ao momento. Isso aumentará ainda mais seu interesse.

8. Atenção redobrada para os pés

Aprenda de verdade sobre o movimento dos pés. Eles são a sua base, da qual seus quadris e todo o seu corpo dependem. É como a base de uma pirâmide segurando toda sua estrutura. Então, não menospreze esse "detalhe".

9. Pergunte

Não tenha medo de fazer perguntas à sua professora. É como na escola: elas sempre servem para todo mundo, porque as outras alunas podem ter as mesmas dúvidas que você. E lembre-se: você é uma cliente, está pagando!

10. Mergulhe de cabeça na música árabe

Fique por dentro da música árabe, compre CDs e tente escutá-los sempre. Comece pelos ritmos lentos e, com o tempo, passe para os mais agitados.

DANCE PRA VOCÊ!

Esta é a frase que ouço da minha professora desde a primeira aula. Não dance pra aparecer, não dance pra se sentir melhor do que ninguém. Vai ter algum movimento da dança que você vai fazer melhor do que outra pessoa e vice-versa, mas lembre-se de que as pessoas são diferentes, tem corpos e limites diferentes, então não tente dançar melhor do que ninguém, tente apenas dançar melhor do que você mesma! Dance com o seu coração, dance pra você! #penseassimesejafeliz #ficaadica

Acredito que a dança do ventre tenha diversas fases, sendo a primeira delas a 'fase da empolgação' ou a 'fase da sede de aprendizado', como já li em algum blog por aí! E é aqui que eu quero registrar, como um diário, meus pensamentos, minhas conquistas, fotos, pesquisas e informações com base na minha sede, afinal, estou no terceiro mês de aula, tenho um longo caminho pela frente e sei que no futuro vou gostar de reler tudo isto aqui e relembrar o começo dessa caminhada! O desejo pelo primeiro lenço, primeiro véu, primeira roupa, conhecer ritmos, artistas, dançarinas profissionais, bares árabes...
